We are seeking a volunteer team member with experience in developing and executing social media campaigns who is enthusiastic about our mission. Project Alpaca is closing the resource gap for disadvantaged students to help them step into their dream careers through harnessing the power of a community of passionate, purpose-driven, and inspired advocates.

Our success - and that of our mentees - depends on expanding our community of active supporters as well as potential mentors and mentees, while sharing the story of our vision. Our Social Media Storyteller will help increase our social media presence and audience engagement. This volunteer will be an integral part of our special Alpaca community, collaborate with the founders to develop a social media strategy and content, and be able to execute the strategy across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn .
• Identify social media approaches that yield a following, and active engagement
• Communicate events and news about our growing organization.

Qualifications:

• Vivid storyteller and effective communicator
• Familiar with LinkedIn and Instagram
• Passionate about social and economical equity
• Detail oriented and organized
• Enjoys community
