Greetings! If you are part of a local Quilt Guild or enjoy quilting on your own, please consider volunteering with us by donating some of your beautiful quilts! We have found it is very meaningful to our hospice patients and their families to honor their loved one with a lovely handmade quilt on their birthday. It may be the patient's last birthday he/she will ever have, and thus the patient's quilt then becomes a legacy gift for the family.
We so appreciate your efforts and talents, and we ask for your help in providing quilts so that we may in turn present them to our patients in the Marlow-Duncan area, the Lawton area, and communities in between and around these areas! They can be smaller lap quilts or bed-size quilts, or anything in between, whatever size of quilt you enjoy making.

Description
Kindful Hospice serves older adults, the chronically ill, the seriously ill, and their families. Seriously ill patients and their families are always the center of our focus. Volunteers are a key and necessary part of hospice care, providing companionship, utilizing their talents in ways they feel most comfortable and within time frames that work well for each of them. People who volunteer truly give from the heart, and they are purpose driven, successful individuals. Serving as a hospice volunteer can certainly be one of the most meaningful experiences a person can have. Please join our team! Kindful has offices across Oklahoma, and our focus in the Western Region includes Chickasha, Marlow, Duncan, Lawton, and everything in between - we need volunteers in all of these areas to touch the lives of our patients and bring them joy.
