ORGANIZATION: Frederick Living

Our resident-led Train Club is looking for volunteers to assist them with reassembling their model train tracks, platforms, displays, and accessories. With some recent moves of residents, the Train Club was asked to move their displays very quickly. This led to damage and they need your help getting things back to working order! They are looking for experienced train enthusiasts, but can also give direction to eager individuals who don't have much experience with model trains. The train club meets weekly on Mondays at 10:00, but is flexible with your schedule.

Mission Statement

Description

Frederick Living is a close-knit not-for-profit continuing care retirement community nestled in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside of Montgomery County. For more than a century our focus has been on living well in every aspect of our lives ... body, mind, and spirit.
Rooted in our Mennonite heritage, we honor the dignity and autonomy of each person who lives and works here, regardless of their faith journey. In everything we do, we’re oriented toward building authentic, friendly community, and together we enjoy a full calendar of enriching activities that allow us to explore our interests and engage our curiosity toward life.
