Mission Statement

At Wachusett Youth Football and Cheer we seek to instill the values of good sportsmanship, hard work, loyalty, courage, unity, integrity, pride, and respect in our children and the community we serve. We provide a positive environment that allows our children to learn the fundamentals of youth football and cheerleading in a fun, supportive, and challenging atmosphere that encourages every athlete to achieve his or her full potential. In our organization, competition works hand-in-hand as a team effort.

Description

Football:
Football fosters important life skills such as leadership, communication, time management, goal-setting, and cooperation. More than that, football is truly a team game. The bond teammates develop is priceless and lasts long after the players leave the field.

Cheer:
Cheerleading develops athleticism, strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance, and dedication. Cheer is also a social, team-based activity that can help boost kids’ self-confidence and leadership skills while teaching important life values including preparation, dedication, and teamwork. Learning to master difficult skills, working with teammates, and performing at games and competitions all provide valuable life skills to the young athletes who participate, as well as being FUN!
