Celebrate Earth Month with the Wolfpack. This is a sustainability-focused fair featuring exhibits, demonstrations and ideas on how you can make the world a better place. Bring a friend and come experience the breadth of sustainability, including learning about food, water, transportation, nature, wellness and so much more. This outdoor event is free, open to the public and sponsored by NC State’s University Sustainability Office.
At this event, we'll need help staffing an outreach table where event attendees can ask questions and learn more about NC GreenPower. At our outreach table, we will have eco-friendly giveaways and other educational materials. Your responsibilities would include engaging people who stop by the outreach table, telling them about our program and giving out NC GreenPower swag etc.

Description
Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, NC GreenPower is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to improve the quality of the environment in North Carolina through a statewide program that connects consumers with green energy and carbon offset providers. We also provide grants for solar installations at K-12 schools. Contributions are given by individuals and businesses either directly to us, or through their utility.
The NC GreenPower Speakers Bureau was created to help carry the message of our mission to all corners of North Carolina. The Speakers Bureau also strives to increase participation in the NC GreenPower program, providing economic, environmental, and health benefits to all citizens of North Carolina.
Training sessions are periodically held for new volunteers. These sessions include tips about presenting, speaking points regarding the program, and instructions for using the speaker toolkit, provided at no cost.
