Do you love cats and kittens? Would you like to be part of an organization dedicated to rescuing those in need of care or life-saving treatment? Are you looking for a way to help without leaving your home? Loving Care Cat Rescue needs an email communications manager. This person will check our organization’s email inbox three times each day (for about an hour each time) and either reply to email received or direct it to other members of the organization.
This is a long-term volunteer position. It requires the ability to personalize email responses, recognize emergency situations that require immediate escalation, provide referrals to the correct resources and the ability to distinguish between what an email says and what is really needed. The position requires a computer with which to access the organization’s email inbox.

- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Organization and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and oral communication
- Comfort with talking to people to obtain clarification
- Customer service experience preferred
- Gmail experience a plus

Unless serious illness would warrant, euthanasia is not an option for cats in the care of Loving Care Cat Rescue.
