The Clinton Jets is a nonprofit organization offering sports to youth ages 3 to 14 in the state of Maryland. Our programs are designed to transform the lives of participants by providing a safe, character building, community supported sport program operating in the Clinton, MD area. We welcome participants from DC, Maryland and Virginia into our programs.
We are in need of volunteer coaches that have two hours, two days per week for (8 weeks) to make an impact in a child's life while playing sports.
Our current sports offering is (1) recreational soccer, (2) travel soccer, (3) flag football, and (4) baseball/softball.

Coaches can pick a M/W or T/Th practice days during the shift time of 6pm-8pm. Games on either a Saturday or Sunday

Mission Statement
The Clinton Boys and Girls Club (CBGC) also known as the Clinton Jets offers youth sports programs to children in Clinton and the surrounding DMV area. We offer a variety of programs for both boys and girls ages 3 to 15. Founded in 1964, we are a non-profit organization that promotes physical fitness, self-esteem, and respect for sportsmanship, fair play, and participant safety.
Description
Today, skill development remains an important goal. The Clinton Jets provides three sports tracks so that your young athlete is given an opportunity to develop physically in a way that fits his or her abilities and interests.
RECREATION LEAGUES
Our recreation league allows young athletes to have fun and simultaneously learn teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership skills. In this track, the teams compete against other Prince George’s County clubs and independent sports organization.
ACADEMY LEAGUES
Our academy league introduces players to what travel sports looks like. It is great for young players ready to move up from recreational play. The program generally does not cut players that want to join unless they are deemed "not ready" for it. It is a full year commitment.
TRAVEL LEAGUES
Our travel league allows more competitive athletes to hone their skills by competing against teams from other geographic areas. Such opportunities provide these young athletes with physical fitness and self-confidence as well as training in teamwork and leadership. It is a full year commitment.

- Background Check
- Must be at least 17
- 2 hours per day for two days a week. Games are played on Saturdays for soccer and Sunday for flag football.
- Must complete a background check and League sport specific certificate training (30 min video)
