ORGANIZATION: Crealde School of Art

Crealde School of Art is a community-based non-profit organization established in 1975. The Young Artist Program offers Summer Art Experiences for Youth ages 4-16. Students who are 15 years or older, volunteer in the classroom, assisting the art instructor. In return, they earn service hours. We are looking for reliable, high energy, students who love art and love to be with children.

We have a specific need for students available July 10-13 AND July 17-20 from 8:30a-5:30p. Students must be able to commit to volunteering from Monday through Thursday, full days, for these two weeks.

Mission Statement

Crealde School of Art is a community-based nonprofit organization established in 1975. We feature an affordable, sequential curriculum of more than 125 studio courses and workshops taught by professional artist instructors in Painting & Drawing, Photography, Ceramics, Sculpture, Fiber Arts, Glass nd Jewelry for adults and children, with hands-on experience emphasized. There are five 8-week sessions per year, plus Summer Art Camp and Young Adult Immersion. In addition, Crealde offers an award-winning scholarship and outreach program to diverse communities in Central Florida.
