Thank you for your interest in The Citizen Project. The goal of our nonprofit is to represent residents and ensure their concerns are addressed.

We are looking for individuals with a background in developing and managing cloud solutions to host our upcoming technology platform. We need someone who is skilled in AWS setup and development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement cloud-based solutions utilizing the AWS platform, to host our technology platform with an emphasis on security and scalability. AWS Amplify experience a major plus.
  2. Responsible for setting the overall direction of the technical solution and implementation
  3. Provide designs for engineers on the project on how to deliver programmatic elements of the implementation
Qualifications:
  • Experience architecting a wide range of AWS solutions including multi-account landing zones, advanced hybrid network integrations, migrations, cloud-native applications, microservices, or data streaming.
  • Strong skills in writing and debugging scripts/code for building and managing AWS services

The goal of The Citizen Project, a 501(c)3, is to provide a platform for NYC residents to interact with their government and community leaders to help solve their problems. This will be accomplished by gathering and evaluating the information on issues faced by citizens and working collectively to develop a public policy proposal and action plan to address the problem.
