Meals on Wheels Collin County is committed to battling the fight against hunger as we deliver essential meals to our senior community. Through this contact we give hope to those seniors in isolation through your smiles and that of each volunteer.

We serve over 1,000 seniors in the Collin County area and these meals make up 33% of their nutritional daily intake. When we do our very best to care for our older adults, we not only give them hope, but health as well. 2/3 of clients saw a decrease in emergency room visits. However, our senior community continues to grow, and we need help more than ever before.

To volunteer in the kitchen, you would sign up through the link below, then follow along with instructions provided on the kitchen application webpage. Orientation will be provided on-site. Our kitchen shifts are from 8am - 12pm.

Description

We provide hot, nutritious meals to Collin County seniors, 5 days a week. Including weekend and shelf stable meals. Our goal is to keep seniors safe and independent in their homes and community.
