Bearfoot OT has an opportunity for you! We are currently looking for volunteers for our upcoming nature-based summer camps.
There are FOUR weeks of camp to choose from:
Week #1:
- June 20-24
- Location: Glen Canyon Park, San Francisco
- 8:30am - 1:30pm, Monday through Friday
Week #2:
- June 27-July 1
- Location: Glen Canyon Park, San Francisco
- 8:30am - 1:30pm, Monday through Friday
Week #3
- July 18-22
- Location: China Camp, San Rafael
- 8:30am - 1:30pm, Monday through Friday
Week #4:
- August 1-5
- Location: Presidio, San Francisco
- 8 week series
- 8:30am - 1:30pm, Monday through Friday
Requirements:
- Due to the social nature of the group, you must commit to the full week of camp
- Fingerprinting is required prior to starting as a volunteer with Bearfoot OT and volunteers are responsible for the cost
- You must be vaccinated

Description
Bearfoot OT was started in order to meet the need of Bay Area families and their kids to get outside and play in nature! We offer individual, sibling and playdate occupational therapy sessions as well as small nature-based social groups. Through outdoor nature play, we help improve various areas that are essential to healthy child development such as gross motor and fine motor skills, self regulation, sensory processing - as well as improving creativity and imagination! Bearfoot's sessions are held in Glen Park Canyon, the Presidio, or China Camp in rain, shine, warm or cold. All sessions are led by a skilled occupational therapist.
