Adoption Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends
• Upload animals to the website once they have been assigned to the Adoption Coordinator
• Promote animals available for adoption on social media, participate in adoption events and transporting animals
• Ensure continuous updates are made regarding the animals on the website
• review all animal profiles at least once a week
• add more pictures as they are received
• add new notes from fosters and veterinary care
• Make sure all information is accurate and up to date
• Retain all data of the foster parents assigned to each animal and maintain communication with the fosters at least once a week
• The Adoption Coordinator is responsible to ask for a foster questionnaire and add all information to the Dog Or Cat profile
• Communicate with potential adopters and foster parents to establish contact, i.e. a meet and greet.
• Adoption Coordinators are responsible for setting up meet and greets that work around the foster's schedule. If the Adoption Coordinator is unable to attend give a volunteer at least 24 hrs notice to find a replacement
• Complete meet and greet and update the notes after each meeting
• Review all adoption applications for each animal assigned. Approve or deny all applications received in a timely manner following the process
