About Broadway Community: Broadway Community, Inc. (BCI) is a Morningside Heights-based human services agency that serves individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty through a broad range of programs including a seven-night-a-week overnight shelter, a four-star soup kitchen, on-site medical services, showers, and more. Working tirelessly to break down the barriers of poverty, inequity, and privilege - until all are fed, in body and spirit - Broadway Community provides countless opportunities to bring neighbors together across socioeconomic and cultural boundaries.
About the opportunity: We seek volunteers to write letters to the Guests of Broadway Community. Volunteers are encouraged to include art, words of encouragement, and some details about themselves (e.g. how old they are, what they do, and where they are writing from).
Volunteers are asked to deliver or mail their letters to Broadway Community at 601 West 114th Street, New York, NY 10025.
There is no limit to how many letters a volunteer may make. Click the link below to register for this opportunity: https://cerv.is/0114giDQZen
