We have multiple opportunities available for volunteers. We need individuals to help walk and socialize the dogs located at the primary facility and not currently being fostered. We are also in great need of fosters who will give one or more dogs a safe, loving home. We can arrange fosters for short or long term and will work with you to find a good match. We provide all medical care and medications and ask only that you provide food. We can also, on an individual basis, assist with food.

About MYLO FOUNDATION INC

Mission Statement

The Mylo Foundation was created to rescue dogs scheduled for euthanasia. We believe that all dogs deserve a chance at a safe, loving home and are dedicated to finding those homes for these often abused and/or neglected animals.

Description

The Mylo Foundation was named after a pup, scheduled for euthanasia because no one wanted him, was rescued and lived for 16 years before dying of old age. The foundation is dedicated to rescuing other "Mylos", pulling only dogs scheduled for euthanasia - the dogs no one else will take - and working to find them loving forever homes. We also work to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, hopefully reducing the need for euthanasia. We have saved literally hundreds of dogs who would otherwise have been killed and found them loving forever homes.
