Do you enjoy reading? Do you wish all children could share your love of reading? Join The Free Book Buggie's development committee to help make this dream possible!
As a Grant Writer, you will be in charge of researching prospective funding opportunities, assisting in making the case for funding, and submitting grant applications. These tasks require strong organizational skills to manage a calendar of grant deadlines and report due dates as well as to track organizational fit for researched grants. This is a great opportunity to gain writing, database management, and project management experience.
This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Additionally, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial.
It is anticipated that this role will require 4-6 hours of independent work each week and 2-4 hours of team meetings each month.

Mission Statement
Mission: To provide books to children and ignite a passion for reading that empowers each child to explore a world of opportunity. Vision: We envision a world where all children have their own home library and become lifelong learners through the joy of reading. Our aim is to accept new and pre-loved children's books, keep them out of landfills and give them all away to children across Minnesota and beyond. We value our core belief that ALL children deserve the right to access age-appropriate books to have in their homes. We are proud of our all-volunteer organization and look forward to growing and having Free Book Buggies bookin' it across Minnesota!
