Job description

Seeking an Administrative Assistant will primarily focus on providing a full range of administrative support to Arts in CT. They will maintain calendars, schedule meetings, contracts, articles, press releases, expense reports, answer and screen calls, edit, maintain office supplies, and process invoices.

  • We are looking for someone who is proactive, polished, professional, eager to learn and support the team.
  • Must be able to work well independently be proactive and able to manage and maintain the office alone
  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who brings solid administrative experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of administrative support experience preferred. Must be MS Office proficient: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. High level of confidentiality required.
  • Communication is key in this role so excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • You should have the ability to prioritize your work so you can handle many projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Be flexible, dependable, and results-oriented.

This position will be, part-time to full-time. It is an immediate hire.

Arts in CT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. We provide arts programs throughout the state of CT in local communities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Must have Covid vaccine card or have taken the Covid exam within two weeks of starting.
