Hello!

The Southern Nevada State Veterans Home is in need of volunteers!

Our Veterans Home is a Division of the Nevada Department of Veteran Services, providing 24-hour nursing care to Nevada's Veterans.

We are in need of volunteers to help on a daily, weekly, monthly, or just for event basis. Our days and hours of volunteer are flexible and we try to work with what your schedule allows.

We need assistance in the following areas:

* Activities (Bing, Pokeno, arts & crafts, etc.)

* Gift Shop

* Administrative (filing, reception desk, data entry)

* Reading / Visiting with our veterans

* Lunch, dinner, and shopping outings with our veterans

* Maintenance projects

*Much more!

Volunteering at the Veterans Home gives you a chance to make a difference in someone's life that at one point put their life in harms way for our freedom. As a Southern Nevada State Veterans Home volunteer you will become a valued part of our team by providing caring companionship and kindness to Nevada Heroes.
