Are you...

Looking for teaching experience with a low time commitment?

Interested in supporting adult students in the classroom?

Excited about math, reading, science, or social studies?

You might be a good candidate for teaching GED content with Community Impact! We are starting a new session that will run from the beginning of April to the end of June and are looking for teachers. Candidates are expected to be able to commit to teaching at least one subject, one day each week, with a set curriculum. They should be able to commit to 2 hours of class and 1 hour of prep work per week.

2. the subject(s) you are interested in teaching,
3. and a few dates and times you are available for a Zoom meeting.

After that, you should receive a response within 48 hours from Nikita, the HSE Teacher Coordinator for Community Impact. We look forward to working with you!

*All classes are in person, near Columbia University's Morningside campus. Volunteers are expected to come in-person and be fully vaccinated, with a booster shot if eligible.*
