Food Distribution Helpers

We are looking for volunteers to join the AmeriCorps Senior Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) to serve at the local food pantry and/or Senior Center to help with distribution.
Distribution Days at Neighbor Helping Neighbor are: First Tuesday of first full week of month 8:00am-10:00am, First Thursday of first full 2nd week of month 6:00pm-7:30pm, First Saturdays of 3rd full week of the month 9:00am-10:30am. We are also looking for help with days donations come in and transporting food as well. If a member of RSVP we do offer volunteer insurance for all assignments, and mileage reimbursement with certain volunteer assignments as well! We invite any 55 aged and older individuals to be a part of a national program with volunteer recognition awards, volunteer appreciation events, all while connecting with other volunteers and your community.
For the Senior Center, it's mostly helping out at lunch time and possibly some deliveries.
