With emergency food needs rising, The Food Group needs volunteers to pack food boxes and get them distributed in a short period of time. Warehouse volunteers will assist with projects including: Bulk repacking of items such as oatmeal, rice, beans, or pasta Assembling boxes for distribution Sorting donated goods Recycling cardboard and boxes

Volunteers are required to wear a face mask while they are volunteering with The Food Group If you are sick (fever, cough, shortness of breath), stay home and seek medical treatment. Follow CDC guidelines, including avoid contact with people who are sick, avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth, cover your cough or sneeze, wash hands often with soap and water or hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol, disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, no shaking hands or high-fives, and respect the 6-foot social distancing practice. If you have been exposed/known potential to COVID-19 within the last 14 days- we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
