The information collected through these counts will help improve the visitor use estimates for particular locations as well as the overall park recreation visitor numbers. This is critical information will be used to report out the visitation numbers for the park, apply for project funding, and communicating with the public regarding visitor use at the park. The data collected will also help verify the accuracy of the trail and traffic counters throughout the park.
Volunteers are expected to wear identifying clothing (DEWA Volunteer Uniform items) to indicate their volunteer status and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the activity they are performing.
