The InTouch TeleFriend Program (https://www.integrativetouch.org/telefriend) introduces ayoung person with any social, emotional, or medical needto two new friends - a team of volunteers, one youth and one adult, who are happy to provide connection, comfort, and compassion, through the ups and downs of life.
Kids with social, emotional, & medical needs often experience interruptions in school, isolation, and less time to develop meaningful friendships. Integrative Touch’s TeleFriend Program provides these kids the opportunity to make new connections and to consistently feel seen, heard, and understood. This joyful experience encourages life-changing social & emotional growth for everyone.
Sessions are fun, playful, and custom tailored to the group's interests. The volunteer shift is 90 minutes/week, for an 8 week cycle, and unlimited cycles are available.
