Refuge Network supports people in socio-economic difficulties especially rough sleepers, impoverished families, homeless people, refugees, and marginalised individuals. We run an outdoor soup kitchen in Central London and operate various outreach programmes. Our fundraising approach is evolving. The Head of Fundraising will help with developing an effective fundraising strategy and leading our fundraising drive. Your first major assignment would be to coordinate the launch of our emergency appeal for Ukrainian refugees.

The Head of Fundraising will:

• Help with researching new income streams, planning and executing fundraising activities.
• Prepare fundraising project proposals, reports and (oral) presentations
• Write and coordinate the submission of funding applications to potential donors.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with donors and corporate sponsors.
• Coordinate the fundraising activities of a small group of (fundraising) volunteers.
• Participate in our outreach events at least twice a month (this could be waived for the right candidate).

It is a flexible role. Most of your work would be carried out remotely over the phone and online. You will develop and guide our fundraising strategy, and report directly to to the Executive Director.

⦁ With a strong sense of devotion and a compassionate heart

⦁ With experience in fundraising

⦁ With a good track record in generating income for good causes

⦁ That can work remotely and flexibly with minimal supervision

⦁ With good communication skills and leadership potentials or experience

⦁ Experienced in crowdfunding and various fundraising strategies
