ORGANIZATION: Bristol Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
Embracing a reverence for life, Bristol Hospice needs volunteers to provide companionship and respite for their patients and caregivers. Our volunteers watch movies, read books, record life stories, do art projects, sing and play instruments with our patients. They may also help with light housekeeping, visit patients with their certified pet companions or help with admin tasks in the Stockton office. Bristol Hospice Volunteers receive comprehensive training; they work closely with volunteer coordinators and they are an essential part of the Bristol Hospice team. This is an excellent opportunity for medical, psychology or social work students, veterans, artists of all kinds, licensed cosmetologists, massage therapists, florists, seniors and anyone else with a big heart.
