Do you enjoy reading? Do you wish all children could share your love of reading? Join The Free Book Buggie's development committee to help make this dream possible!
As the Donor Engagement Specialist, you will be in charge of cultivating strong, positive relationships with past and potential financial donors. You will most likely accomplish this through personalized communications via phone, video, or email as you learn the donors’ preferred method. You will work with the Development Committee to create fundraising goals and strategies as well as donor appreciation initiatives.
To be successful, the Donor Engagement Specialist needs strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and collaboration skills. An ability to adapt to change and self-motivate is a must.
It is anticipated that the Donor Engagement Specialist will spend 2-4 hours per week in independent work and 2-4 hours per month of team meetings.

Mission Statement
Mission: To provide books to children and ignite a passion for reading that empowers each child to explore a world of opportunity. Vision: We envision a world where all children have their own home library and become lifelong learners through the joy of reading. Our aim is to accept new and pre-loved children's books, keep them out of landfills and give them all away to children across Minnesota and beyond. We value our core belief that ALL children deserve the right to access age-appropriate books to have in their homes. We are proud of our all-volunteer organization and look forward to growing and having Free Book Buggies bookin' it across Minnesota!
