Embracing a reverence for life, Bristol Hospice needs volunteers to provide companionship and respite for their patients and caregivers. Our volunteers watch movies, read books, record life stories, do art projects, sing and play instruments with our patients. They may also help with light chores in patients' homes, visit patients with their certified companion pet or do admin tasks in the Stockton office. Bristol Hospice Volunteers receive comprehensive training; they work closely with volunteer coordinators and they are an essential part of the Bristol Hospice team. This is an excellent opportunity for medical, psychology or social work students, veterans, artists of all kinds, licensed cosmetologists, seniors and anyone else with a big heart.

They may listen to music, watch movies , read, record family stories or provide respite for caregivers. Bristol Hospice volunteers receive specialized training and support from the entire team. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get first-hand experience in their chosen field of study (medicine, social work or psychology) veterans, and anyone with a big heart.
