Patient Care Hospice Volunteers Needed

MISSION HOSPICE and TENDER CARE

Why do people want to volunteer for Hospice?

Like everyone drawn to hospice, it is a calling. You may have had a family member on hospice or some other experience that makes you want to give back.
Maybe you are pursuing a career in the healthcare field and want some experience.
Can you play an instrument? Music at end of life or anytime provides a unique quality. It can be soothing, healing, distracting, and reach those who no longer are able to verbalize. We treasure those that can provide this gift to our patients.

Tender Care patient care volunteers provide patient companionship, offer caregiver relief, OR deliver specialty services like massage, music, pet therapy, and haircuts to our patients. Above all they provide support to someone at end of life.

Please reach out to jmendenhall@missionhh.com or lboesel@missionhh.com if you are interested in volunteering. We hope to hear from you soon!
