ORGANIZATION: First Integrative Community Care Services

Volunteers provide important support to First Integrated Community Care's (FICCS) mission of challenging barriers to the rights and health of people affected by HIV through outreach. Volunteers dedicate their time and skills to help end the HIV Epidemic while gaining valuable experience in the non-profit world.

Volunteer opportunities include providing assistance with the following projects:

  • ​Administrative support;
  • Community outreach and education;
  • Development/fundraising;
  • Language translation services (particularly English to Spanish);
  • Technical support for our website and social media; and
  • Researching, drafting, and editing the content for-weekly newsletter

To apply to volunteer, please send the following to volunteercoordinator@eficcs.org with the subject heading "Volunteer Application":

  • Cover letter;
  • Resume; and
  • Writing sample.

If you are selected for an interview, FICCS will also require the names and contact information of at least two references.

Description

FICCS promotes mental health and preventing mental illness through advocacy, education, research and services. FICSS works every day to protect the rights and dignity of LGBTQ individuals with lived experience and ensure that peers and their voices are integrated into all areas of the organization.
