Our next Rock the Block will be Saturday, April 12th. O ur Rock the Block events are a part of our Neighborhood Revitalization mission in making an effort to beautify and clean up the city of Wilmington, and the surrounding areas! We will be cleaning up trash and leaves, and planting flowers and trees.
For this upcoming neighborhood cleanup, we will be meeting at 9am at 1920 Hutton St Wilmington DE 19802. We WILL BE PROVIDING breakfast and lunch! The event will go until 1pm.
Please feel free to bring along friends and family to this event! If you plan on attending, please ensure that you and others coming with you register via this link ahead of the date, so we can get a count for food!

To build affordable housing at no-profit through a combination of volunteer labor, 'sweat-equity' and no-interest mortgages. We act in partnership with the community as a diverse group, including individuals, partner families, faith groups, civic organizations, local schools and businesses. We reach out from Christian roots across denominational, faith, economic and racial lines to bring together people who are concerned for their neighbors. We strive to develop and empower individuals and communities through the construction of simple, decent homes.
Description
Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with families in need. By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience the joy of helping a family to realize their dream of homeownership.
Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County offers both volunteer construction opportunities as well as non-construction opportunities: such as providing lunches for construction volunteers, working in the ReStore, or serving on a committee.
