Youth Pioneers in STEM is looking for speaker event leads to promote our organization! We can grant easy service hours for various purposes, including school credits and the PVSA awards. Successful leads will also receive preference if they apply for another role; we are always posting more general & board positions! This is a remote opportunity that requires 7+ hours a week of commitment, as this is a board position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help find speakers interested in participating in our keynote speaker event
  • Help interview our speakers for a short talk
  • Acting as the primary organizer of our Speaker Initiative, in which we speak with leaders in STEM to discover more about this field
This is a high leadership position, and you will be in charge of everything associated with running your event as the lead. We will run everything through you, and although this is technically a volunteer position, it is also a board position that requires your full commitment. Thank you.
