The mission of the Friends of Bolton Mansion is to engage the Lower Bucks County community through exhibits and programming that are open to the public. The continued restoration and preservation of the Mansion as a historic museum, along with the Farmers’ residence and surrounding grounds will foster interest in the interpretation of the site, the history of Bolton Mansion, and its role in the early history of the Commonwealth through the present day.

Location: Bolton Mansion, 85 Holly Drive, Levittown, PA 19055

Work Location: Onsite and Remote, work from home

As Volunteer Manager, your role will be responsible for recruiting and interviewing volunteers for the Friends of Bolton Mansion. Friends of Bolton Mansion is a 100% volunteer-based organization including the Board of Directors. We rely solely on volunteers to run the organization with the goal of maintaining and restoring Historic Bolton Mansion c1687 and the Farmer’s Residence. This role could potentially be the head of a volunteer recruitment committee.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with Board of Directors to determine volunteer needs
• Creating job descriptions for volunteer positions
• Recruiting and interviewing volunteers
• Creating and maintaining a volunteer database
• Community Outreach
• Collaborating with Board of Directors on Volunteer Appreciation initiatives

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years experience in Volunteer Management or Human Resources (HR) preferred
