Recruiting Organization: Chispa Project

We’re excited to announce our upcoming volunteer trips to Honduras for May 15-22, 2022 and June 12-19, 2022.

Join us to help set up and inaugurate a new school library. We need volunteers to come participate painting, labeling and inventorying books, and help with the library inauguration festival activities and decorations.

You do not need to be able to speak Spanish or have any great art skills, just enjoy working with kids!

Chispa Project is a 501(c)3 that creates school libraries in Honduras to help provide children with their first ever access to children's books. To date, we've donated over 35,000 books to 65 different schools across the country.

$1,100 is all-inclusive package for your week-long volunteer project and helps build a library!

Trip costs cover:

  • Food and lodging in Honduras
  • Transportation in Honduras
  • Travel Health Insurance
  • Support the creation of the school library with books, library supplies and decorations, bookshelves, paint, and inauguration activities and crafts for kids.

Please note: Plane ticket is purchased separately on your own into the new international airport in Comayagua (XPL).

Don't hesitate to call us at 720-588-3315 or reach out via email at info@chispaproject.org. More details and application forms can be found online here at www.chispaproject.org/volunteertrip
