JF&CS Rubin Visiting Moms volunteers are a unique and wonderful group of moms who visit parents with a newborn (remotely or in-person) for the first two months and up to the first birthday of the baby. Join us! Make a difference in the life of a young family! Opportunities are available in the following communities: North Shore, Central MA, and Greater Boston area. Volunteers participate in a supervision group every other week in addition to meeting with their family weekly, and can expect to spend roughly 8 hours a month volunteering.
