ORGANIZATION: Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly

  • 8 people are interested

LBFE's Visiting Volunteer Program is our most impactful program that gives volunteers the opportunity to build a lasting and meaningful friendship with an isolated older adult. We put a pause on this program since March of 2020 due to the pandemic but have officially relaunched the program this year! We are looking for fully vaccinated + boosted volunteers who are interested in being paired up 1:1 with an older adult to build a reciprocal, lasting friendship.

All volunteers will be required to complete a one-time volunteer orientation, clear a background check, sign an attestation form, and attend an additional training for this program specifically. At this time, visits will be done over the phone/video calling, but once we are cleared to visit in person, you will be able to schedule in-person visits 2x a month!

If you are interested in participating in this program, please email Debbie Uchida at or sign up for an LBFE volunteer orientation here: bvFHryrwwznmDm319.
