WISEPlace is the only Orange County-based nonprofit leading the effort to end homelessness for unaccompanied women. We provide women with safe shelter, counseling and mental health services, case management and addiction recovery, and employment assistance to help rebuild their lives.

We are seeking a volunteer with excellent customer service skills to answer incoming calls, check voice mail, return calls. They would provide program information, community resources and add to Program Inquiry Tracker when applicable. Spanish speaking preferred but not required.

COVID SAFETY POLICY:

WISEPlace is a shared and communal temporary shelter environment where most of the women we serve are not vaccinated and as a private organization we have the right to keep any and all safety protocols in place for the protection of WISEPlace staff, volunteers, and especially the women we serve.

I agree to be symptom-free for at least 24-hours without the use of medication and allow 10 days to pass since the last known close contact with a person known to test positive to Covid before volunteering for WISEPlace.

I agree to properly wear my mask at all times on WISEPlace grounds regardless of vaccination status.

I agree to keep a 6 ft social distance when interacting with shelter participants, staff, or other volunteers.
