Volunteer drivers are needed to provide Veterans with transportation to their medical appointments from the Daytona clinic to the Lake Nona hospital and back after their appointment is completed. The drivers will also be required to sanitize the vans after the patients are transported to the Medical Center and again once the van has completed the return trip to the Lake Baldwin clinic to ready the van for the next day.
Additional training to include sanitation protocols and physical provided for driver. Volunteer assignment requires a commitment to a regularly scheduled day each week, completion of all on boarding requirements to include a physical provided by the medical center.
This is a critical need assignment and directly affects patient access to care.
