We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Drivers for the Veterans Affairs Veterans Transportation Network Program. As a Volunteer Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing transportation to Veterans from the Daytona clinic to the Lake Nona hospital for their medical appointments, ensuring they have access to the care they need. After their appointments are completed, you will also be responsible for safely transporting them back to the Daytona clinic.

Responsibilities:
- Safely transport Veterans to and from medical appointments between the Daytona clinic and Lake Nona hospital.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of both yourself and the passengers.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized vehicle, following the provided sanitation protocols.
- Provide a friendly and supportive environment for the Veterans during their transportation.
- Complete all required training, including sanitation protocols and physical provided by the medical center.
- Commit to a regularly scheduled day each week for volunteer assignments.

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all onboarding requirements.
- Ability to pass a driver physical.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide proof of Covid vaccination.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to fulfilling volunteer assignments.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
