Coordinates community events and engagement opportunities for the African Doula Project in north St Louis to improve Black infant and maternal health. Assist the Project Coordinator in planning and carrying out orientations, community outreach and workshops training 20 new birthing assistants including business development training.
Responsible for creating calendar of community and online events for the African Doula Project. Responsible for community events that promote the project and brings in new volunteers and program participants. Works with the Volunteer Coordinator to staff team. Works with the Promotions Coordinator to promote events. Reports to the Program Coordinator. This is a limited project that ends in September.
