ORGANIZATION: NAMI Solano County

Become an In Our Own Voice presenter for the Solano County affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness!

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI Solano County serves to carry out this commitment at the local level in Solano County, California.

NAMI In Our Own Voice is a 60-minute interactive presentation led by two adults living with mental health conditions. It provides insight into what it's like to live with mental illness. Audiences are given a safe place to ask questions and gain understanding of an often misunderstood topic. Through dialogue, we help grow the movement to build better lives.
