Shower Power Plus by Build A Bus Home (BABH) is Building Community, Extending Dignity and Compassion for ALL OUR VISION: Serving unhoused guests, providing our mobile hygiene services through compassion, safety , dignity and respect. Our volunteers are important to us and we ask for your help to create a safe and meaningful volunteer experience. We thank you in advance for your service!
BABH is an all-volunteer run organization! Our main program is called Shower Power Plus, which provides showers to houseless people. Without a dedicated and committed team of community volunteers like you we could not be there for our guests in need.We are searching for people who want to contribute to creating a positive impact in our community as a volunteer.
Shower Power Plus also works closely with Community Partners creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. This "Village of Care" approach has attracted partners who provide, food, clothing, medical, employment information, and a range of related supplies and services.
As we grow and evolve our operations, it is crucial that we continue to promote a favorable and lasting impression of BABH in the minds of everyone with whom we interact, including guests, donors, media, volunteers, and the general community.
