We are seeking Veterans to serve Veterans on our service. This includes pinning ceremonies as well as general visiting and companionship with Veteran patients and their families. We have Veteran patients but need Veteran Volunteers to serve by visiting Veterans.

Patient visitation, life review, discuss hobbies & interests, current events, read or sing to patient, accompany patient outside if appropriate, companionship & socialization, monitor & report progress to hospice team. May sit with patient while caregiver runs errands, but no hands-on care. Communication with hospice team and dependability for patients and families. Compassionate, caring, good listening skills, able to sit quietly at times if needed. Interest in others & their life stories, own transportation, able to complete & send in documentation after each visit.
