To volunteer with a group of other like minded humanitarians helping families or individuals who have been affected by a home fire or other disasters in your local area. This group is call the "Disaster Action Team."
Disaster Action Teams provide 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for necessities such as food, shelter and clothing. This is the entry level position that with further training and experience will allow the volunteer to be deployed to National Disasters.
