Recruiting Organization: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation New England Chapter

Take Steps is a family-friendly fundraising event where patients, loved ones, friends and supporters empower and inspire each other to continue the fight against inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Volunteer with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation for the Greater Boston Take Steps walk on June 11 at North Point Park in Cambridge, MA.

The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff are our top priorities. The New England Chapter will follow all safety guidelines determined based on MA State law and regulations.

Friday 6/10/22

  • Afternoon Pre-Event Set up 3pm-5:30pm
  • Evening Pre-Event Set up 5:30-8pm

Saturday 6/11/22

  • All Day - 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Pre-Event Set up - 6:00 AM - 9:00AM
  • Event Only - 8:30 - 12:30 PM
  • Post-Event Clean Up - 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Volunteers will be assigned to participate in any of the following areas: event set-up and tear down, check-in area, welcome area, photo stations, children’s area, top team area, bathroom stations, and cheer stations along the walk route. Wear sneakers and comfortable clothing. A t-shirt will be provided.
