We are looking for someone or a group who would enjoy crafting at our Senior Day Program with our members. We work with seniors suffering from Alzheimers and memory loss. Many of our Seniors use to be part of crafting groups or clubs and really enjoy doing projects however need some extra support to continue to do things they enjoy. We have all supplies and equipment all you have to do is show up and have fun.

Glory Days aims to offer a creative solution to caring for loved ones with memory loss or other age related concerns. We hope to improving quality of life to our members through a safe, engaging, creative environment while offering support to families with a break in caregiving.
Description
Glory Days is a Senior day program. We are very new to the Phoenix Valley. We love to have a good time with our members. Most of our members are dealing with some sort of memory or cognitive issue. We like to think outside the box when it comes to activities provided to participants. When members come to our program they are there to have a good time, it is our hope that any volunteer or staff member coming through our doors would have the same objective. Often times people with memory or cognitive impairments can feel isolated or lonely and loved ones caring for them can get burnt out. We want to provide a solution to this commonly seen scenario. We love to bring in local talent to preform, play group games or break up into small groups for activities. We do arts and crafts as well as just good conversation and reminiscing.
