The Visitor Services Greeter serves the vital role of welcoming visitors to the Garden. As one of the first points of contact for guests, greeters must be familiar with and enthusiastic about the Garden. Greeters should be able to give basic directional information about the Garden (i.e., bathrooms, length of trails, etc.), as well as information about any current/upcoming exhibits, events, and basic membership information. Greeters should also be familiar with the local area to refer guests to other activities/museums and restaurants. This position provides a great opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and to promote the Garden as a friendly, inviting, and accessible place. Morning and afternoon shifts are available all days that the garden is open. One on one training is available upon request.
