ORGANIZATION: S.Y.STEM Coalition
Looking for a passionate and motivated volunteer to help with day to day operations within the organization. Our organization is small, so you may wear many hats. Responsibilities may include developing internal policies and procedures or managing smaller teams to complete internal projects. You will work closely with the CEO to ensure the organization is running smoothly and effectively.
A little about SYSTEM Coalition: we started six years ago in Tucson, AZ. six exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping K-12 students find a passion for STEM. We saw all of the poverty in our city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 50 volunteers, chapters in three different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has shown me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time!

Lead the coalition of industry and education to steer youth to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through experience-based learning.
Looking for passionate, motivated volunteers who really want to change the world to start a Los Angeles Chapter of SYSTEM Coalition! We are looking for volunteers to fill leadership positions as well as individual contributor positions. I am dedicated to finding the best fit for every volunteer by really getting to know you, your goals, what you want to get out of volunteering and pairing that with an open need that we have.
