Do you enjoy making the life of others, especially seniors, a little better? here's your chance. We're a non-profit taht offers free services for low-income and refugee families, women & seniors. We are seeking a female VOLUNTEER Exercise Instructor to facilitate virtual classes for our seniors. To instruct an exercise class or teach about stretching to our Somali senior clients. I run the senior programs for our agency, and I am looking to create a healthy, easy stretching and movement program to introduce seniors to healthier habits. I'm looking for individuals who would be able to teach a virtual beginner exercise class, or a class on easy stretching, easy muscle strengthening & healthy lifestyle...etc.

Description

The Somali Family Safety Task Force is a nonprofit community-based-organization (CBO) located in the NewHolly neighborhood in Seattle, WA that serves refugee and immigrant women and their families. Not only are we community-based but we are also community-driven. Our founders as well as the majority of our staff and volunteers are Somali and/or East African. Our programs are created with input from our community and are often at their request. Programs range from computer literacy training to combating and preventing gender-based-violence. We pride ourselves in being an organization by-and-for our community.
