Entrepreneurship Incubator Developer for International Mentorship Nonprofit
About the position
We are working on developing an incubator and training materials to help minority and other underprivileged entrepreneurs. This program will also work with existing businesses to support underserved voices. If you want to work in an exciting international business environment, this volunteer opportunity is for you!
Our volunteer positions are conducted virtually and are open to individuals from around the world. In addition, your work through this position will make the world a better place by supporting our work to provide free services to thousands of people in need.
About us
Dweebs Global ( www.dweebsglobal.org ) is an international nonprofit foundation created to meet the pressing needs of those affected economically and mentally in these trying times. Millions of people are unemployed, struggling, or just need advice and psychological counselling due to the stress and hardships of COVID-19. Working alongside trained and vetted mental health professionals, career counsellors, and domain experts, our organization provides one-on-one mentorship, advice, and counselling absolutely FREE, without any barriers, via video conferencing and other means.
We are currently developing training materials and a program to work with underserved entrepreneurs. We're planning on launching in Nigeria and India first, via our on-the-ground teams in those countries.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship/pitching/business.
- Preferred background in research, writing, and entrepreneurship.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Willingness to commit for at least 6 months. (This is flexible if needed.)
