Intern Coordinator

We are looking for versatile volunteer intern coordinators to manage and develop internship processes and procedures. Once established, they are responsible for overseeing interns and providing support and community connection for the duration of the internship (4 months). This person will schedule, promote and host events and facilitate groups in their day-to-day agendas.

Intern Coordinators will assist in the development of onboarding processes and job placement. Respond to intern inquiries and needs in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinate intern activities, including logistics, costs and engagement.

Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure interns are properly onboarded and implemented into their position

• Respond to intern inquiries and needs in a timely and efficient manner

• Coordinate intern activities; including logistics, costs and engagement

• Protect Our Legacy Harvested values and unique mission

• Assisting with intern recruitment and outreach events

• Overseeing all logistics of interns arriving, working and being onboarded

Skills/Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Strong verbal, writing and editing skills with the ability to translate our mission into compelling cases for support

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences in terms of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status and more.

• Experience usings Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides

• Self-directed and comfortable working independently and with a team

• Strong attention to detail

• The ability to manage multiple priorities at one time

• Willingness to share feedback and reflections with peers and leadership directly in a way that can support shared resolution

• The ability to receive and implement feedback and coaching
