Every day, disasters devastate families. As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you can help comfort and support people who are forced from their homes due to fires, storms and other emergencies, so they don’t have to face tough times alone.
Every day, people are forced from their homes due to fires, storms or other disasters. Our Disaster Action Team volunteers respond day and night to meet the immediate needs of their neighbors. Our help may include financial assistance for food, clothing and lodging; emotional support; or replacing prescription medications and other critical items.
All in person volunteer responders must show proof of COVID vaccination at the time of application. Bilingual is Spanish & English is helpful but not required; if you are bilingual please indicate so at the time of application.
