We are a youth-led non-profit that creates a space for our peers to feel empowered and have the tools, leadership skills, and youth role models necessary to be leaders in their own community through bicycles. We are looking for some help with our social media.
The following would help us:
- Ability to check our Twitter or Instagram on our behalf
- Comment positively on posts on our behalf
- Refer potential social medias to follow
- Stay up to date in the conversations on either platform
Our volunteers (we call Advisors) help us in their areas of expertise, giving around 4 hours a month to specific functions for keeping the council running. This position is for social media and outreach and would support our future presence on platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Each year the council does 2 annual national-level projects, decided on by the council. We want to keep the youth doing the annual projects and not focused on the administrative/operational aspects of the council.
Is this position not a match for you? Maybe someone you know may be better suited for it, refer them to this volunteer position!
